Balnain children joined us today for a super morning with author, Andy Stanton visiting the P4-7 children. He read extracts from two of his books and talked about his life and how he started writing. The children were told they just needed 1 idea to get started. All found him very funny and inspiring with many starting to read their books straight away over break.
Some comments included:
‘The books are really creative and funny.’
‘He would be great at my birthday party.’
‘He was super funny.’
‘He’s weird (in a good way) and hilarious.’
